Down here in central Ohio...This is so interesting. Down here in central Ohio by this time of year - I'm usually seeing scads of monarchs. I've seen maybe two. BUT! One WAS laying eggs on our huge milkweeds. This is interesting: I photographed one laying eggs on the milkweed 'pod' and not the foliage.
